Mike Hanson - Associate Director
Mike Hanson began his career in the construction industry in 1975, and joined Russell, Drysdale & Thomas (now RDT Pacific) in 1987. A lasting testimony to Mike’s ability is the Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa), the $317 million development towards which he made a significant contribution including cost planning, receipt of tenders and preparation of tender documentation. The project was completed within budget, with the final account agreement noticeably absent of contractual claims.
Mike has particular experience in working in the public sector at both central and local government levels. As a consequence, he has a good understanding of the processes, procedures and project cultures required to ensure successful outcomes. Mike also has expertise in integrating federated Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes into contracting systems.
