RDT Pacific had a stellar finish to business in 2017 facilitating the Foodstuffs North Island Limited property deal with development partner Auckland International Airport Limited.
The completion of this deal allows Foodstuffs North Island to move its primary distribution centre to a new purpose-built complex at The Landing; a world class business park owned by Auckland International Airport Limited.
A massive 65,000sq m distribution centre will be constructed to accommodate the grocery cooperative’s rapid growth, and allow for all three of Foodstuffs’ current facilities to be consolidated into one site. This new future proofed facility will improve efficiencies across the Foodstuffs business and allow for planned significant growth in the future. Construction for the warehouse portion of for this project has started on site, and with completion due late 2020. The office is due for completion early 2021.
RDT Pacific acted as the Development Managers, coordinating and offering strategic property advice, and Technical Due Diligence advice and coordination.
Simon Wilson and Sarah Houlden worked very closely with Foodstuffs North Island, Auckland International Airport, and a team of experts to enable a full due diligence and assessment of the technical, legal and economic viability of this investment with PWC, Colliers and Chapman Tripp.
RDT Pacific is proud to be acting as Project Managers for Foodstuffs.
