Alex Cutler

Alex is an experienced senior executive, industry influencer and lifelong sustainability advocate with strong expertise in the property and construction industries. Previously Chief Executive of the New Zealand Green Building Council, Alex is practised at representing the voice of sustainability in industry, is experienced at balancing the needs of a wide range of stakeholders and has worked with a number of clients to help them clarify strategic sustainability opportunities.

As Chief Executive, Alex retains a focus on developing RDT Pacific’s internal approach to sustainability while providing leadership for all aspects of RDT Pacific's operations and the company's strategic direction.

 

Experience

Alex’s career has included consulting for Sustainability Ltd, PwC New Zealand and Urban Constructs Ltd, focused on selected projects where sustainability influenced a step change in organisational development.

She has worked across numerous sectors in a variety of countries, but some of her most recent New Zealand-based projects have been in the office and infrastructure space.

Alex has led the facilitation of a workshop to create a team-led sustainability strategy for a large property company, including stakeholder engagement with a selection of team members pre-workshop, facilitation of the one-day workshop and post-workshop follow-up to check progress.

She has also reviewed and reported on global best practice sustainability amongst sector competitors in order to assist the development of a market position and work plan for an infrastructure company.
