Rod Masters

Project Manager

Rod has over 17 years’ experience across strategic planning, leading large teams and construction management that brings a pragmatic, inclusive leadership style to any project team. His clear communication and grounding in risk and project management skills are demonstrated through collaborative project leadership of any engagement.


Rod has a wide array of experience in delivering projects in austere and complex environments. He has led military construction teams and managed various projects for the New Zealand Defence Force in Antarctica, Afghanistan, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, as well as here in New Zealand.

Rod led a large team of military engineers for three years during which time he was responsible for the maintenance and delivery of a large portion of the NZDF’s military engineer capability. This role gave him extensive experience in operational management, leadership, planning and risk management.

Rod is based in Wellington where he is involved in a range of projects, including seismic and weathertightness remediation.
