Site Selection Due Diligence

RDT Pacific was engaged by Foodstuffs to manage the sourcing and site selection for both a new large (c. 75.000m2) distribution centre and a co-located head office for their North Island operations.

As part of this process, RDT Pacific facilitated the due diligence of various sites working closely with Financial and Legal advisors. This included a thorough technical appraisal on land; development options appraisals; technical risk analysis and mitigation; technical input and advice on development and lease agreement terms and processes.

Following Foodstuffs’ confirmation on their preferred partner, Auckland International Airport Limited, RDT Pacific supported Foodstuffs in the development and conclusion of the delivery terms including team and personnel; programme and milestones; design processes and; Development / Lease Agreement annexures.

In parallel, RDT Pacific project-managed the briefing, design and procurement stages of the fit-out for both buildings and continues to deliver the construction phase of this project.
