Chris Champion

Chris is a MRICS Chartered Senior Cost Consultant based in our Christchurch office. He has more than 15 years’ commercial construction experience across various sectors and multiple locations including New Zealand, UK, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, Iraq and various military operations in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Chris has wide ranging skills and specialisms from initial feasibility estimating and constructability advice through to post-contract administration, cost reporting including negotiating, valuing and agreeing variations with contractors.

In addition, Chris is an excellent communicator, able to understand the requirements of key stakeholders involved in a project. Chris specialises in the preparation of realistic and robust budget estimates based on his attention to pricing detail, knowledge of alternative construction specifications and material alternatives and overall buildability of a project.

Chris is a driven professional  Quantity Surveyor and knows that the setting of a realistic, robust and manageable budget from the outset and delivering against this is critical to the success of the project.
