A results-driven project management professional, Talei has a proven track record of successfully delivering both medium and high-complexity projects. Known for consistently exceeding expectations, Talei is passionate about fostering strong partnerships across teams and delivering impactful outcomes for New Zealanders.

In 2022, alongside responsibilities as a Construction Project Manager, Talei assumed the role of Strategic Project Advisor. In this capacity, Talei supports clients with strategic planning to ensure initiatives align with business objectives and are positioned for long-term success. This role demands a high level of procurement expertise, influence, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Earlier in Talei’s career, as Project Coordinator at the Department of Corrections Ara Poutama Aotearoa (2013–2015), Talei led the scoping, design, delivery, and reporting of the Minor Capital Works Programme, encompassing over 100 projects across the Corrections estate. Responsibilities included business case development, stakeholder engagement, project tendering, and complex financial oversight. Additionally, Talei supported the Planned Asset Replacement Manager in delivering over 150 projects, requiring extensive travel to Corrections sites for collaborative planning and execution.
