20 Puaki Drive, Wiri

Confidence in the long-term prospects of the Auckland industrial property market is a driver in the purchase of 20 Puaki Drive, Wiri for City Logistics Co. Limited.

The 5.8 hectare site, almost the size of six rugby fields, and its high quality building is now a cornerstone investment for City Logistics Co. Limited (CLC), part of Mayfair Group.

CLC engaged RDT Pacific to manage technical due diligence and related workstreams for this project which involved navigating site complexities and eliminating risks in a fast-paced and dynamic investment market.

This is the third in a series of Auckland industrial investments for CLC that have required in-depth knowledge and expertise of the local property market to navigate complex issues.

This project made the most of RDT Pacific’s integrated services offering, requiring Project Management, Capital Intelligence (property advisory) and Sustainability Advisory services.

The Wiri-based property is leased to GPC Asia Pacific, the largest automotive and industrial aftermarket parts supplier in Australia and New Zealand.

The next phase for this project is to align it with the client’s overarching environmental sustainability strategy which involves working towards Green Star performance certification.
