EBOS Group Building
RDT Pacific provided Project Management services for Auckland International Airport Limited’s purpose-built facility, an entire warehouse and ELA which is temperature controlled, fit for pharmaceutical storage and future expansion.
Tenanted by EBOS Group (Healthcare Logistics), this state-of-the-art complex comprises a 12,500 m² warehouse, 4,250 m² ELA breezeway plus specialist stores and plant area and a 1,000 m² separate office space with room for future warehouse expansion. It also includes 150 car parks and 12 bicycle parks for staff and visitors.
The EBOS Group facility is the first of three new projects at Auckland Airport’s Landing Business Park. RDT Pacific was well placed to manage the construction of this development having successfully completed the Endeavour Consumer Health development at 17 Landing Drive for Auckland Airport and EBOS Group, which won Merit at the 2020 Property Industry Awards, along with several other Auckland Airport award winning projects, including Fonterra Brands ‘The Shed’, DSV, Bunnings DC and Hellmann Worldwide Logistics developments.
The purpose-designed facility allowed early integration of the tenant’s operational requirements into the design. The innovative features of this project are the extensive fit out suitable for pharmaceutical storage including a vault, chillers, freezers, dangerous goods stores, battery charging and amenities.
Sustainability was fundamental from the outset of the project, where highly visible green aspects throughout this facility demonstrate a commitment to sustainable principles. Operational functions include EV chargers, low-emission vehicle parking and rainwater reuse. This facility has exceeded its objectives and is on target to achieve a 4 Green Star As-Built rating from NZGBC.
This world-class facility was named top industrial property at the 2023 Property Industry Awards.
